2018: A year in review

Belong

Already? No way! Welcome to our year in review 2018

This year instead of trying to do this chronologically we thought we'd split it into two; stuff about us and then the things we've worked on.

We kicked off the year in the House of Lords, representing the North Yorkshire Coast for our work with the Careers & Enterprise Company. This was very closely followed by a new, larger office in Woodend to give us a little more space and to grow into. Over the summer we became Cyber Essentials certified and shortly after welcomed Gabrielle to the team. We rounded the year off in style by winning the Small Business of the Year award at the Scarborough Business awards.

We're also delighted we've been able to support our local colleges by offering work experience and sponsoring local sports teams Scarborough Athletic F.C and Scalby Cricket Club.

In terms of work we launched the POLY4.com website for Sirius Minerals, this is a fully content managed website that displays animations, performs complex calculations, maps activity across the globe and does it all in both English and Mandarin. We also worked very closely with Cirrus Research plc this year launching a web app, website and our native Android and iOS Apps.

We've continued to work closely with other local clients too; most notably a website for the highly respected sculptor Emma Stothard and Coventry University for whom we've ran workshops and one-to-one business support across the year helping close to 150 businesses in the process.

Finally, we closed the year by securing a long term contract with Sirius Minerals plc providing both on-site and external digital support to the organisation.

Here's to next year!

Richard, Andy, Jack and Gabrielle
