Funding opportunities for businesses in the Humber, York, East Riding or North Yorkshire areas
There are lots of really good schemes around at the minute that allow businesses in the Humber or York and North Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) Areas to secure up to £50,000 in funding. In order to qualify the businesses needs to turnover less than £50 million and employ less than 250 people. The don't need to be for digital projects either, it's just what we know best.
Below are two schemes that we feel plenty of businesses will find useful.
Coventry University's Digital Advantage Project
Coventry University Scarborough have recently secured funding to run a digital advantage project across North Yorkshire. The project offers fully funded workshops for SMEs and grants are available up to the value of £5,000 to procure consultancy support to help them address digital issues specific to their business.
The grants cover 40% of the total project cost and can be used to invest in many key areas of your business including:
- Web design
- Bespoke systems
- eCommerce Development
- Digital Consultancy
- Digital Marketing Campaigns
SparkFund is an innovation support and grants programme that will help you to improve or develop exciting new products, services or processes. SparkFund offer three innovation and support funding options and you can qualify for more than one
If you have an idea that could lead to innovation within your company or something that alters the market in which you operate. There is a range of support from consultancy support, non-match funded grants and match funded grants up to the value of £20k.
These projects could include process or service development, testing or even IP protection. The support could be specialist support of match-funded grants up to the value of £50k.
Low carbon R&D grants
As above but these projects could lead to new ideas or information that reduce carbon output within your business. The support could be specialist support of match-funded grants up to the value of £50k.
